As a college student you don’t always have time to put on a full face of makeup every day. However, long nights and late night study sessions can wreck havoc on your hair and skin. Here are a few of my favorite products to help bring a bit more life to my look for class.
Dry shampoo will save your life. My favorite brand is Batiste because it is relatively affordable and accessible but it gets the job done! I like cleaner scents in my dry shampoo so I have been loving this scent recently. One thing that I absolutely despise about dry shampoo is how gross it makes your hands feel (yes I am guilty of touching my hair a lot). In order to combat this, I have started applying my dry shampoo at night instead of in the morning, you will wake up with less grease AND less residue!
The Bobbi Brown Vitamin Enriched Face Base is super handy because it primes your skin but also moisturizes it, which is super important for those cold winter months. This product combines two steps in my morning routine which is helpful if I’m in a rush (which I usually am because…sleep).
The It Cosmetics CC Cream is possibly my favorite find of 2017. This CC cream gives you a natural look while also providing coverage (something that so many tinted moisturizers and CC creams lack). This CC cream also has many added benefits that help improve the look of your skin over time.
L’Oreal Lash Paradise is easily my favorite drug store mascara. It is super affordable and gives you great length and volume! You can find this product at any drugstore so I won’t include the link here.
Finally, I have been loving the OUAI Hair Oil lately. This product really keeps my frizz at bay but does not make my hair feel greasy or weighed down. Another plus is that this product helps protect your hair against heat, which is something that most oils do the exact opposite of.
