I’ve decided to start a new series! Every Thursday I am going to be highlighting the benefits of a different “health food” on my blog! I’ve always been into health and fitness but lately I have been working a lot harder and getting more into it! I want to put a disclaimer at the beginning that nothing is going to be a magic pill to help you lose weight or reach your fitness goals, you have to put in the work! But sometimes it’s fun to incorporate some of these extra foods or supplements into your diet! I am not a doctor, these are just some supplements that I like to use and why!
Today I want to talk about the benefits of adding chlorophyll to your water!
- It helps you stay more hydrated! By adding chlorophyll to your water you alkalize your body very quickly.
- You will absorb other supplements better!
- It’s an internal deodorant. So you will smell better! Who doesn’t want that?
- It’ll help boost your energy levels.
- Chlorophyll helps to detoxify the body, aids digestion, and purifies the blood.
- It can help boost your immune system!
- Some people claim that it aids in weight loss!
- And it’s full of nutrients!
I simply buy liquid chlorophyll from Whole Foods and add it to my cold water. I find it tastes best when very cold, so add some ice!
